Backflow Services

Get direct help with Backflow installation, repair, testing and certification for your South Florida property.

Backflow prevention equipment helps keep water moving in the intended direction and reduces the risk of unwanted reverse flow into the water supply. When a Backflow device needs attention, the right next step depends on the equipment, the property and the reason service is being requested.

Valeriana Service provides Backflow services throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties for reduced pressure (RP), double check (DC) and pressure vacuum breaker (PVB) assemblies. Start by calling or messaging Bruno. If you have a notice, device tag, previous test paperwork or photos of the assembly, send them so he can review what you have and help determine the next step.

Assembly types

Backflow Assemblies We Test

Valeriana tests and services the three common types of backflow prevention assemblies. If you are not sure which one you have, send Bruno a photo of the device and its tag.

What your test report records

Every test is documented on a Valeriana Backflow Prevention Assembly Testing & Maintenance Report, including:

  • Device owner, address and location of the assembly
  • Assembly type, manufacturer, model, size and serial number
  • Meter number, permit number and static line pressure
  • Test readings for each check valve, relief valve or air inlet
  • Any cleaning or parts replaced
  • Final test result: pass or fail
  • Tester name and signature

Backflow inspection tag

After testing, the assembly gets a Valeriana backflow inspection tag. It records the make, model, size and serial number of the device, the tester’s name, the test result and the expiration date, so the next test date is easy to find.

Keep the tag on the device and keep a copy of your report. If you received a notice from your city, utility or property manager, send it to Bruno along with a photo of the tag.
